Digest Plus contains a combination of concentrated Pineapple and Papaya providing standardised proteolytic activity from these concentrated natural sources, helping to break down food.

Digest Plus also contains two separate strains of L. acidophilus and two separate strains of Bifidobacteria along with Gamma Oryzanol from ricegerm.

• Pineapple is a fruit that provides a natural source of Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme that helps digest or break down proteins in food.
• Papaya is another fruit which contains the naturally occurring enzyme Papain, a digestive enzyme that helps break down food.

• Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacteria are lactic acid forming “friendly” bacteria that secrete enzymes which help break down starches and fibre in food. Both acidophilus and bifidobacteria are commonly used in the production of yogurts and fermented foods to make them more digestible. Digest Plus contains two separate strains of L. acidophilus and two separate strains of bifidobacteria.
